"AU FIL DE L'EAU": SOME ARTICLES OR COMMENTS
MUSIC IN BELGIUM
"Facetious refrains, a falsely naive side, a natural sympathy aroused by the songs, all this constitutes the menu of this endearing album, between folk rock, French song, swing and emotion. This album is a way to stop time and spin in a dimension that is simple and refreshing, graceful and indolent."
François Becquart in "Music in Belgium" about this album: full article: LINK HERE.
RADIO AIR LIBRE and POINTCULTURE.BE
"Bernard DEGAVRE is not on his 1st album. We have already had the opportunity to present it on our airwaves. "Au fil de l'eau" offers songs that he has been performing for a long time on stage, but does not had never been recorded. And here we are with French songs, with a little nostalgic side and music that reminds us of the United States (assumed in titles like "Hollywood" and "Colorado"). Its references are however some great names of "good" French song. He also dedicated a show to Georges Moustaki."

"In this new CD, Bernard Degavre takes us well into a zen world, into a cool, smiling, indolent universe, which does so much good in these troubled times."

RCF SOUTH BELGIUM
His name is Bernard Degavre, he has been singing the poetry of words for half a century now. Spiritual son of Georges Brassens and Georges Moustaki, his tone and his melodies are good. His words encourage travel, and to navigate over the water. It is in any case the title of his new album. A disc that reminds us with nostalgia of Souchon, Voulzy or even Michel Berger. As for the music, it wants to be true, limpid and always rooted in the sometimes arid lands of the great American spaces. A folk rock journey, therefore, over words, over water.
